We all see the signs after a natural disaster or some kind of tragic event …”We believe in _____(insert local town or city), or “ ______( insert name, town, state, etc) Strong”.
And this is great. It helps people feel better about the current icky situation by belonging to a group or tribe and not feeling left out or have to feel with emotions they can’t handle by themselves.
And that is perfectly fine if that is what you need too deal with something.
But what if you “Believed” or were “Strong” with yourself, and it didn’t take an event or someone else telling you that you were?
Sounds Epic to me!

If it was that easy society would not be obesely overweight, hooked on prescription drugs, addicted to alcohol, and using a device as a digital babysitter.
Let’s do some unpacking... I’ll start with my journey to my truth...
We are conditioned from birth to react for acceptance. If you did something you weren’t suppose to you were yelled at, or your hand slapped. As an infant you knew this didn’t feel good, and felt icky.
So after a few times of feeing icky, you stopped.
I understand that it is different when you are barely walking and reach for a hot stove and your parents slap your hand, etc.
I am only referring to the feeling that is established at a very young age of acceptance, and making others happy.

So we can gather from the definitions above that intermittent fasting occurs at irregular intervals, it is not continuous or steady (or is it :), and that you abstain from all or some food or drink...sweet!

Intermittent fasting is basically a selected time frame you choose to consume your daily macros (calories from fat, carbs, and protein).
There is more involved in the process, and some good decisions need to be done before hand that will help insure you achieve the healthy results you are seeking.
But don’t overthink, or be intimidated by the whole process. You are basically eating good, healthy, food/fuel, in an allotted amount of time. Sweet!...Easy breezy!

First off I do have to admit that as I am typing this blog post my hands may be busy on my Mac book, but my feet are calm and relaxing on my “Earthing Mat” I have under my desk.
I also have an identical Earthing mat in front of my Joovv elite (red light therapy) so I can be grounding myself while I am receiving all of the Awesome benefits from getting Joovvy.

That statement pretty much sums up the vital role that clean water plays in a healthy life.
Water flushes out waste from your body, it helps with brain function, and regulates body temperature.
This is only the beginning……Lets dig in…
Water prevents dehydration. You are losing water every time you sweat, have a bowel movement, or urinate.
So, if you are training super hard make sure you stay in front of your hydration. Severe dehydration can lead to seizures, kidney failure, and to the swelling of your brain.
None of that sounds like a good time to me! Holy cow!
Proper water intake will keep you in a good mood as well.
When you get dehydrated, confusion and fatigue can set in. Dehydration can also lead to anxiety, which is sooo not good for anyone.
