The importance of water…
Mother nature’s gift to a healthy life…
That statement pretty much sums up the vital role that clean water plays in a healthy life.
Water flushes out waste from your body, it helps with brain function, and regulates body temperature.
This is only the beginning……Lets dig in…
Water prevents dehydration. You are losing water every time you sweat, have a bowel movement, or urinate.
So, if you are training super hard make sure you stay in front of your hydration. Severe dehydration can lead to seizures, kidney failure, and to the swelling of your brain.
None of that sounds like a good time to me! Holy cow!
Proper water intake will keep you in a good mood as well.
When you get dehydrated, confusion and fatigue can set in. Dehydration can also lead to anxiety, which is sooo not good for anyone.
Water is a great hydrator for the skin as well! If you get out of the shower, and your skin feels dry and not hydrated, you need to give your water some attention.
We have a well that gives up good, but hard water.
So, we have a descaler on the main water input to the home, and a Reverse Osmosis filter system under the sink I will put a link to the system we have here.
Express water Reverse Osmosis filtration system
We did a lot of research for what system would be best for us and our health/needs. And we went with the Express Water Reverse Osmosis Alkaline Water filtrating system -10 stage RO water filter with faucet and tank. See the link for full details.
I will say this unit cleans and purifies the water (it takes everything out) and remineralizes the water with the good minerals your body requires. All for only $209.99. A great investment to your health and longevity.
I have 8 40oz stainless water containers that I use throughout the day that I fill with this machine every night, so I don’t have to drink out of the horrible plastic water bottles. Bottled water is horrible for you because of the way it is bottled, I will provide a link here to explain the process.
The truth about bottled water link
Stick to glass and stainless, these are clean high vibe sustainable containers that will keep your water Awesome.
Remember that there is energy in everything, especially your water. Dr Emoto conducted some experiments where he yelled some nasty things to water, froze it, and then looked at it under a microscope.
The results were distorted and chaotic. He then did the opposite, saying nice and Loving statements to water from the same source, and then froze it.
When he placed the “nice” water under the microscope the results were completely opposite of the “nasty” water.
The results showed beautiful “snowflake” designs in the water. Pretty powerful stuff! His results confirm that you alone can raise the vibration of anything and anyone in your life, including you!
Water is a major component of saliva. Saliva helps break down the food you consume and keeps your mouth healthy and smiling J
Water is a major lubricant and cushion for your tissues, spinal cord, and joints.
Water is crucial if you are training hard, an athlete, or work physically outside all day long. If you are any of the above, you can sweat out 6 to 10 percent of your body weight during your physical activity.
Water is a major help in the detoxing of your body as well.
Every time you sweat, have a bowel movement, or urinate you are helping to detox your body. Just be sure you are consuming enough water to sweat it out. Meaning if you are sweating more, drink more water, it’s not rocket surgery…J
Water will help to keep you “regular” as well. There is water in your bowel, this is your body helping to detox as we discussed above.
You can imagine how constipation would occur if you are not hydrated. To stay “regular” maintain adequate fiber, magnesium and water.
Water helps improve your circulation by transporting oxygen and nutrients to every part of your body.
Water is also mother nature’s all-natural energy drink. Drinking enough water can help to activate your metabolism, which will help have a great impact on your energy and attitude level.
How much water should you consume daily?
Only you can answer this question. If you are thirsty, drink water…its that easy. Stay away from sugary gross sodas and energy drinks.
Basically, anything processed and in a can.
As a general rule it is said for men to consume 125 ounces per day, and 91 ounces for woman. Keep in mind that these are only suggestions.
Listen to your body and stay in front (plan ahead) for your health and hydration. Meaning if you know you are going to run on the beach for 45 minutes, drink adequate water before, during your workout, and after for recovery.
Your body Loves clean water clean air, and clean food.
The many containments that can be found in unfiltered tap water are pharmaceuticals, lead, chlorine, fluoride, nitrates, calcium, arsenic, and bacteria.
And whatever else people are flushing down the drain that doesn’t get properly cleaned and filtered.
The bottom line is like I said above…to be healthy your body (and mind) require clean water, clean air, and clean food.
