This Stabilacore course is a one of kind program that is based on three principles. Those principles are functional movement, stability and instability. 

 

Lets unpack each one...

 

Functional movement: Functional movement  is movement that you do everyday. From getting up of off the floor, standing up, carrying in groceries, etc. Stabilacore utilizes and strengthens your functional movement with every workout, as you are using the same movements you use to "function" everyday. 

 

Stability: When you are Stable the  you are anchored in, you are strong. You will see as you progress through the course how important stability is. Getting stable  is puling the top of your head up towards the sky, pull your shoulders down and back, engage your core, and engage your pelvic floor...doing all of this makes you extremely stable. Stability plays a great role in your Stabilacore program and life in general. .

 

Instability: When you are stable and doing functional movement in an unstable environment...you are doing Stabilacore! This is what makes this program so special, and so aggressive at strengthening your core. As you will see once you start the program there are different tiers and modifications to fit all skill levels.

There are three tiers to your stabilacore program:

The beginner: This tier is great if you are new to working out and to get you familiar with them movement and the form of Stabilacore. You will have your feet on the ground, and only using bodyweight, no kettle bell's yet, this is to get your form perfect before moving on to intermediate. 

The intermediate: In this tier of Stabilacore you are slightly off the ground ( a workout step, the first step on a staircase, etc). You start off with just your body weight and add a kettle bell when you are comfortable and your form is 100%. 

The pro: This is the tier that turns your body into a fat burning inferno! You have used the beginner and the intermediate tiers to establish your form and build your confidence. You are now ready to get off the ground in an unstable environment...doing functional movement! This is what makes Stabilacore so special!

In the pro tier you use a Bosu ball (rubber side down) or a wobble board, etc (examples on each in the included workout videos) while completing the Stabilacore workout! Adding a kettle bell or weight when you are comfortable and ready.
